This tip applies to businesses, brands and organizations (not individuals)
Even applies to small B2C businesses (cafe, apparel, media etc.)
If you want to write something on behalf of your company that could get people to actually become fans of your company / brand, use this.
Brands with fans have this one thing - a strong personality (which leads to a distinct voice). They are like a movie character. Often this character is strongly influenced by the founder / CEO. Sometimes it reflects the character of the core management team.
So when the company puts out any annoucement, the person reading it feels like it came from a human (or a group that strongly shares similar values) and not from a boring corporation.
A great side-effect of this → Having a personality in your company’s communications attracts strong talent that is also a cultural fit.
Now you may be thinking, this all sounds fancy, complicated and perhaps expensive.
Do I have to hire a team of experts to get all this done?
How do I develop a brand voice, personality etc. and also make sure every communication is in a similar voice?
With AI there is a shortcut, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
Solution
Find a brand that is closest to your company’s personality, then just ask AI to use their brand voice.
Let’s say Tesla is closest to your company’s values and voice.
Simply consider adding this at the end of your AI prompts
in Tesla's brand voice
Hold on! I know you may not want to simply sound like another brand (although nobody will find out 🤫)
You can put your own spin on this, and make something unique with minimal effort, and yet make your entire company’s messages consistent (do not tell this secret outside!)
Take 5 seconds to look at the slide below

This is from a workshop used by google ventures (and now popular among many startup branding experts) called 3-hour brand sprint developed by Jake Knapp. Check it out here.
Now what I want you to pay attention to are the adjectives in the slide. There are 10 of them. To be honest just 5, and the 5 on the other side are opposites (antonyms if you are fancy)
Note: The brand icons above are given to demonstrate the adjectives. That single adjective doesn’t define that entire brand, but the brand strongly has that adjective in their personality. If its confusing read it a few times. It was confusing even for me to write it.
Moving on…
Good news is that you can construct an entirely new brand voice, using just one additional adjective (or few).
Here’s an example - the famous Indian food delivery app Zomato is well known for its viral marketing stints. Part of it is that they have a strong brand voice. This article listed conversational, humorous, friendly as their top three adjectives.
Now all you have to do is, invert one of these and ask AI to do it.
in Zomato's brand voice but hostile
Now you might be thinking which brand in their right mind will be hostile.
You maybe right, but because their other attributes are humorous and light-hearted ones, this can work.
And see below for yourself what claude.ai gave me when I gave this prompt.

Just one example of how much fun we can have generating messages.
ps. This is really my idea of fun, and sometimes I spend evenings doing this instead of other work.
